The LegalEDHEC research centre is currently made up of four professors.
Christophe Roquilly is professor of law at EDHEC Business School and director of LegalEDHEC. He has a doctorate in private law and he created and chaired the department of law at EDHEC. He was the first faculty dean and from 2002 to the end of 2006, he was director of the EDHEC Grande Ecole and associate dean. He also managed the first accreditation project undertaken by EQUIS, the development of the legal.edhec.com website, and the creation of the legal and tax engineering specialisation. He teaches business law, intellectual property law, and the relations between strategy and law. He has also published articles and books on business law, competition law, e-commerce law, and legal management. His current research revolves around legal performance. In 2001, he was awarded the prize for best research paper by the EDHEC Foundation. He has also created tailor-made programmes for managers, corporate advisors, and lawyers, and he has participated in numerous consulting projects.

Christophe Collard is professor of law at EDHEC Business School and directs the specialisation in legal and tax engineering. Christophe Collard has significant experience teaching abroad (in Poland and in Algeria). He currently teaches competition law, contract law, and legal management. His publications have examined competition law and distribution and, more recently, focus on legal management. In 2001, he was awarded the prize for best research paper by the EDHEC Foundation. He regularly leads executive education seminars and workshops for corporate legal departments; he is also an active consultant.
Björn Fasterling is professor of law at EDHEC Business School. He has an LLM and a PhD in law and for several years worked as a lawyer in the Berlin offices of Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering. He subsequently came to EDHEC, where he has chaired the department. His specialties are international contract law, corporate governance, European law, and corporate social responsibility. His research is devoted largely to compliance and corporate governance. Björn Fasterling is fluent in English, German, French, and Swedish.
Cédric Manara is professor of law at EDHEC Business School. His areas of expertise are intellectual property law and electronic commerce law. The Journal of Intellectual Property Law and Practice has in fact mentioned him as one of the liveliest and most influential intellectual-property educators in France. As a head columnist for the Revue Dalloz, he has published numerous articles on intellectual property law in the digital economy. Cédric Manara is an expert at the Center for .eu Disputes, which consults him regularly on disputes involving domain names. He is on the list of academic experts in matters of consumer law in the European Union; he is also an active consultant.
